A glazed surface designed for light and architecture
The fixed aluminium window is glazed joinery with no opening sash, no handle and no rotating or sliding mechanism. The glass is set directly in a fixed frame, favouring glazed area, natural light and visual slimness.
Single, panoramic, full-height, transom, side light or combined with an opening window, the fixed window can take various profile and glazing solutions. Its performance depends on frame sizing, glazing, seals, setting blocks, drainage, fixings and installation quality.
Solutions, performance and architecture
TAKE-DECOR studies each fixed window according to the architecture, dimensions, orientation, wind exposure, glazing and performance sought. Standard profile, thermal break, minimalist frame or reinforced section are selected according to the real use and constraints of the project.
Insulating double glazing, Low-E, solar control, acoustic glazing or safety glass can be integrated as required. From technical study to workshop fabrication and installation, every detail — profiles, glazing, seals, drainage, setting blocks and fixings — is coordinated to seek light, comfort, weather tightness, durability and architectural precision.
